PROFESSIONAL TRAINING PROGRAM PART TIME & FULL TIME
PSB Professional Training Program is recognised as one of the top professional dance training programs in Australia and is founded on the following principles:
Providing a complete, well-developed program with clearly articulated outcomes for each level from Foundation to pre-professional training in Level 8.
Emphasis on developing underlying strength and control for the ballet body which is crucial to achieving the technical requirements of dance.
Working with teachers with a strong background in ballet and contemporary dance training – we value both accredited teachers with years of dedicated experience and teachers with national and international career success.
An integrated training syllabus that brings together the best of all ballet & contemporary disciplines.
A focus on artistry, musicality and stage craft – defining the individual quality of each student.
Ensuring ‘best practice’ training techniques are used to ensure minimal injury and maximum efficiency of one’s body.
Strong collaboration with families, academic schools and allied health professionals to provide a holistic support team for each student.

PSB Professional Training Program consists of 8 Levels beginning with Part Time and moving into a Full Time program at Levels 3 & 4.
As part of our PSB Professional Training Program Full Time program, we work with each student individually in their senior years to create their own Professional Pathway.
This includes:

Auditions for summer intensives to renowned schools worldwide

Dance company & associated schools audition tours to Europe and/or the US

Auditions to internationally acclaimed competitions such as YAGP, Prix de Lausanne and Alana Haines.
Many of our students have enjoyed summer intensives in schools such as Paris Opera, Royal Ballet, The Houston Ballet school, American Ballet Theatre, Canada National Ballet, – to name only a few. Often of these intensives and competitions have led to offers and placements worldwide.
