The Perth School of Ballet Adult Program is designed to provide tuition for adults who are new to dance, those returning to classes after a break, or those who dance regularly and are looking to add another class to their schedule.

Our Adult Classes
Our Adult Ballet classes follow the traditional class format with barre work followed by centre work.
Our pointe class is open to all levels of dancers, from beginners through to advanced.
Our Contemporary classes are a fun way to develop strength and flexibility while learning fundamental dance skills.
Our Body Conditioning classes combine a variety of body techniques from yoga to traditional ballet limbering and are open to all levels.
What are the benefits of taking dance classes as an adult?
It’s no secret that dance is beneficial to general health and fitness but it can also improve cognitive skills, brain density and enhance balance and coordination. At PSB, our classes give you a full body and mind workout.
From the physical aspect, students increase flexibility, gain core strength and improve posture as well as tone areas such as upper arms, back, abs, glutes, quads, hamstrings, inner thighs and calves.
From a psychological point of view, many students find dance to be a great way to feel creative, learn new skills, meet new people, relieve stress, have fun and feel good about themselves.
